CNC Programmer
Job Information: Immediate opening for a CNC Programmer in Cincinnati, OH.
Key Responsibilities:
Use CAM (Computer Aided Manufacturing) software to calculate and create programs
Review post processed program for accuracy and proper code generation for the specific machine tool
Work with Engineering, operators and Plant Supervision to trouble shoot and resolve design, equipment and operating difficulties
Work independently and/or with engineering as required to design and develop or identify adequate work holding devices
Review process plan and identify problems or areas of concern with process engineer and work to resolve the issue and establish an efficient process
Qualifications:
Technical Degree in Engineering or equivalent discipline
5 years min experience
5 years minimum experience programming using MasterCam® or NX® based CAM software
Proficient in the use and application of cutting tools; Geometric Dimensioning and tolerancing; use of precision hand measuring tools; Microsoft Office®
